Season Eleven
When Hank Henshaw went out of control (following his transfer from his human body to a robot), Dr. Emil Hamilton used his Signal Watch to alert Superman.
Months later, Lois Lane had her own Signal Watch with her to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. However, it was lost and destroyed during an attack, preventing her to call Superman.
Appearances
In the Comics
The Signal Watch is mainly associated with Jimmy Olsen, making its first appearance in Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #1 (October, 1954). It was a gift from Superman, allowing Jimmy to contact him, should he ever be in danger.
In Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #16 (April, 1960), Superman gives a Signal Watch to Lois Lane. However, she ends up giving it back at the end of the story (having misused it on several occasions, and she does not want to constantly annoy him).
